Over the next few weeks, we will be posting pieces of work or photos that need to be celebrated. Remember to keep emailing your teachers with the work that you have done!
Here are a selection of Week 13's fantastic home learning photos that have been sent in to us.
This week we have been enjoying doing science experiments, making models and writing dinosaur adventures.
Year 2 have been using words to create artistic pieces of writing, carrying out science experiments and watching caterpillars grow. They have been writing about the Beatles and using Andy Warhol pictures as inspiration for their own art. They have been investigating how things floats.
Year 3 have been designing Viking broaches and building Viking long ships. In English they have been thinking about the thoughts and feelings of the characters in Blue John. In art they have completed the art challenge sheet and painted some hearts of Blue John. Finally we have seen some amazing origami dragon eyes!
We have been busy completing the advertisements for our theme parks. Most of our theme parks opened last week, and we have been calculating our half-yearly profits.
In Art, we have continued to study the Op Art movement. Last week we created the illusions of holes or stairs disappearing through pieces of paper. We have also been busy creating pieces of abstract art inspired by Arabesque No 1, by the French composer Claude Debussy.
