Year 1
Homework Expectations
Every Friday your child will be bringing home some learning activities that should be completed at home. Your child will be given a homework folder and this should remain at home. New sheets will be added to the home folder or book each week. We will also publish all the homework tasks on the school website.
We will be setting:
- A phonics activity – this will follow the sounds we have been learning in class that week
- A maths activity. As an extension, please could children log on to Mathletics
We are currently not sending home reading books. However, we are expecting children to log into Bug Club at least 3 times a week to read. If your child has lost their log-on details please contact us via year1.horfieldp@bristol-schools.uk
You have the option to scan or photograph the work to submit to the teacher by email year1.horfieldp@bristol-schools.uk by the following Wednesday.
