School Milk Services Limited delivers fresh milk daily to our school through a scheme set up jointly by the Local Education Authority. The milk is subsidised in part from EC funding and is available to all children aged from five to eleven years. Milk is free for your child up to their fifth birthday.
Additionally, as part of the revised School Food Standards, all children who are eligible for free school meals are being provided with free milk at breaktime from 1st January 2015.
It works out at £1.20 per week for your child to receive a 200ml carton of semi-skimmed milk at the morning break period.
All administration of payments and details are dealt with by School Milk Services Limited and not the School office. If you wish your child to have milk, you can pick up an order form from the information boxes by the school office or, alternatively, you can ring SMS directly on 01934 510950. They accept cheques or can take card payments over the phone before 2.30pm Monday to Fridays.
