Year 2
Every Friday your child will be bringing home some learning activities that should be completed at home. You child will be given a homework folder or book and this should remain at home. New sheets will be sent home for you to add to the home folder or book each week. We will also publish all the homework tasks on the school website.
Each week there will be a phonics activity and a separate spelling sheet. Along with this we will set 2 maths tasks, one easier one and one which is more of a challenge. Please complete at least one of the maths tasks. As an extension we ask that children spend some time on Mathletics.
You have the option to scan or photograph the work to submit to the teacher by email year2.horfieldp@bristol-schools.uk by Wednesday.
We are currently not sending home reading books. However, we are expecting children to log into Bug Club at least 3 times a week to read. If your child has lost their log-on details please contact us via year2.horfieldp@bristol-schools.uk
