FAMILY Services
Do you need help at home? Are you worried about the welfare of a child in your or someone else’s family? Please click on the link below which gives you access to a ‘First Response’ leaflet produced by Bristol City Council's Children's Services. You can call First Response on 0117 9036444, to report any concerns or to get help with issues you are struggling with regarding your child’s welfare.
Please remember that we have our Family Link Worker, Kate Harfoush, who may be able to help your child if they have any issues in school or at home and may also be able to give you access to assistance for family home problems. Please click on the link to read her information leaflet.
Please find below a link to the Families in Focus information bulletin for families and young people during Coronavirus. This has been put together by the FIF teams across the city and it has lots of information and activities that families can use during these difficult times.
Parenting courses at our school
Our Family Link Worker is trained to deliver ‘The Incredible Years’ parenting course (IY) for children aged 4-10 and also the ‘Parents Plus’ Adolescents Programme (PPAP) for pre-teen and teen children aged 11-17. We regularly facilitate these courses throughout the school year in partnership with North Bristol ‘Families in Focus’ Parent Support Team. Please look out below for any upcoming courses at school.
